Factor-2 is a Russian-German pop-hip-hop group. The band was formed in Germany in 1999 by Hamburg-based musicians Ilya Podstrelov and Vladimir Panchenko. After their debut song, "Beauty," gained popularity in Russia in 2005, the group began collaborating with Sergei Zhukov, lead singer of the band "Ruki Vverh!", who became Factor-2's producer. In Germany, DJ Vital (Vitaly Moser) and Vadim Aikhvald handled the group's production. In January 2005, the band released two albums in Russia: "In Our Style" and "We Are Fake MCs," which had previously been released in Germany in 2002 and 2003, respectively. A music video for "Beauty" was filmed to promote both albums, directed by Sergei Zhukov.
