Alexander Rapoport is a Russian theater and film actor, best known for domestic television series, as well as a TV presenter and singer. In the 80s he was arrested and sentenced to 4 years in connection with a conflict with the authorities related to his professional activities. In 1990 he emigrated to the USA, worked as a psychotherapist. Created on the Russian-language TV channel the program "Mirror", dedicated to the psychological problems of people. He received his acting education at the Lee Strasberg School (New York). In 2002, at the invitation of Vladislav Medyanik, he came to Moscow to participate in the presentation of his new album. After speaking at the presentation, he was among the participants and laureates of the first competition "Chanson of the Year".
