Alexander Zinovievich Shapiro is a singer, songwriter, and performer of romantic chanson songs. He was born on March 7, 1966, in Moscow. He received a higher technical education at the Tsiolkovsky Moscow State Technical University. In 1996, he released his first solo album, "Play, My Guitar." From 2000 to 2005, he was regularly featured on Radio Chanson (103.0 FM), hosting a parody column called "Shapiriki." From 2005 to 2009, his songs were played on Radio Petrograd - Russian Chanson (100.9 FM). He also appeared on television programs on the La Minor channel (NTV+).
