Alla Georgievna Solenkova (March 12, 1928, Millerovo – March 24, 2005, Moscow) was a Soviet academic singer (lyric-coloratura soprano), Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1968). As a child, she attended a music club at the House of Pioneers in Podolsk and studied violin at a music school. After graduating from the Music College at the Moscow Conservatory, she entered the Moscow Conservatory (class of L. N. Balanovskaya), graduating in 1954. In 1954–1956, she was a soloist with the Moscow Estrada. She was a 1st prize winner at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Warsaw in 1955. In 1956–1958, she was a soloist with the Bolshoi Theater. Her operatic roles include Snegurochka, Marfa, Gilda, and others. Since 1958, she has been a soloist with the Moscow Philharmonic, and during the 1961–1962 season, she interned at La Scala. Her repertoire included opera arias, romances, lyrical pop songs, and Russian folk songs. She became famous for her performance of Alyabyev's "The Nightingale."
