Andrey Bandera is a Russian singer and composer. Since 2014, he has been performing under his own name, Eduard Izmestyev. He was born on April 25, 1971, in the mining town of Kizel in the Perm region. After school, on the advice of his parents, he entered a mining technical school. During his student years, he organized his own group, Atlantis (1987). In 1999, he moved to Moscow at the invitation of the Soyuz Production production center. In 2006, he first appeared on the stage of the Olympic Sports Complex during the Eh, Razgulyay! festival. Andrey Bandera's repertoire includes folk songs in his own arrangement, songs based on the poems of Sergei Yesenin, modern pop songs, and "new Russian songs." Andrey Bandera is a laureate of the Chanson of the Year music award; since 2007, he has been awarded this title annually. In 2009, with the song “You Fly, My Soul”, performed together with singer Rada Rai, he won the “Song of the Year” nomination.
