Anna Danilovna Artobolevskaya (1905-1988) - Soviet pianist, teacher of the Moscow State Conservatory. Tchaikovsky, teacher at the Central Music School, one of the key figures in the education methodology of the Soviet piano school, Honored Teacher of the RSFSR. She was born in Kiev on October 4, 1905. In 1924 she graduated from the Kiev (class of V.V. Pukhalsky), in 1930 - from the Leningrad (class of M.V. Yudina) Conservatory. In the 1930s, she taught piano at Leningrad music schools and gave recitals. In 1944-1953 she taught at the military faculty of the Moscow Conservatory (now the Military Conservatory), as well as at the Gnesins' ten-year music school.
