Antonina Anatolyevna Zhmakova (born 1942, Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian actress and singer. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1995). In 1972, at the International Pop Song Contest in Tokyo, Antonina Zhmakova was awarded a special prize and a gold medal for her performance of Anatoly Novikov's song "Towards the Stars". After such success as a singer, Zhmakova performed in many cities of the USSR and abroad. In 1974, accompanied by the instrumental ensemble "Melody" under the direction of Georgy Garanyan, she recorded the album "Shum birch", which included songs by Soviet composers. Then Antonina Zhmakova performed as part of the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Singing Hearts", and later was a soloist of the rock bands "Round" (1986-1987) and "Sprut" (1988-1990). In 1995, as the artistic director and soloist of the association of contemporary music groups "Sprut" at the Moscow State Concert Association "Mosconcert", she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
