"Araks" is a Moscow rock group that achieved fame in the 1970s in the USSR. She collaborated with popular composers: G. Gladkov, A. Rybnikov, A. Zatsepin, Yu. Antonov. In addition, "Araks" performed and recorded songs composed by the band's musicians, songs by A. Romanov and K. Nikolsky. In 1972, on the initiative of Y. Shakhnazarov, the keyboardist of Skomorokhov A. Buinov was invited to "Araks". The vocalist, bass-guitarist and flutist S. Belikov (1974), a year later - vocalist A. Sado, in February 1978 - guitarist V. Golutvin (ex- “Good fellows”, ex- “ Funny boys"). After that, the "Araks" line-up stabilized.
