Armi & Danny was a popular Finnish musical duo of the late 1970s and early 1980s, consisting of singer Danny (Ilkka Lipsanen) and Miss Finland 1977 Armi Aavikko. The duo formed in 1977 shortly after Armi won the beauty pageant. They performed together for about 16 years, touring Finland and performing on cruise ships. Their best-known song is "Tahdon olla sulle hellä" (1977), which became a smash hit in Finland. Other popular songs include "Kaiken sulle antaisin," "Me vain," and "Silloin vasta kaiken saan." In 2006, the English-language version of their hit, "I Wanna Love You Tender," became a viral meme thanks to its distinctive choreography and Grease-inspired costumes.
