BanYa is a South Korean music group responsible for creating the original songs for the video game Pump It Up. BanYa's music style ranges from hip-hop to electronica, rock to classical crossovers. The group's first two releases under the name BanYa were Ignition Starts and Hypnosis. They released 3 albums up until 2004. Starting with Pump It Up NX, former BanYa member Yahpp became a solo artist. All other former members became known as "BanYa Production".
