The Blues Company is a German blues band from Osnabrück. The band has released over 20 albums on the Inakustik label. Along with the Frankfurt City Blues Band, the Pee Wee Bluesgang, and Das dritte Ohr, they are considered pioneers of the German blues scene. Founded in 1976 by Todor "Tosho" Todorovic and Christian Rannenberg as "Christian Rannenberg's Bluesband," the band was renamed Blues Company shortly thereafter. They have played over 3,000 concerts throughout Europe. Initially, they played as a backing band for blues musicians brought to Europe by promoter Rolf Schubert. Their first album, "Live," was released in 1980. Since then, they have released numerous albums, making them the longest-running and most successful German blues band.
