“Buerak” is a Russian post-punk group founded in Novosibirsk by Artem Cherepanov and Alexander Makeev in 2014. Releases of the group like “Proletariat” (2015) and “Roots” (2016) immediately began to gain popularity among the audience. The first album “Dancing by Calculation” was released in September 2016. According to the Afisha magazine, Buerak is one of the main teams of the so-called “new Russian wave”. Also, critics and the musicians themselves have repeatedly noted the influence of Soviet rock music of the 1980s on the work of “Gully”.
