Catherine Rollin is an American pianist, composer, teacher, and author. She has written over 400 pedagogical compositions that are known worldwide for their combination of musicality and teachability. Her music is characterized by lyrical melodies. She has conducted over 300 master classes and seminars in the United States, Canada, Japan, and Taiwan. She is the author of the Museum Masterpieces series of books, which feature original works for piano inspired by works of art in museums around the world. She is a co-author of Creative Piano Teaching (2011). Catherine Rollin's students have won numerous awards, including national finalists in solo, duet, and composition competitions.
