Che Francisco is a Kazakh band that critics called a discovery in the country's musical life in 2005. In the summer of 2006, they were recognized as the discovery of the Nashestvie festival, and in the summer of 2007, they performed on the main stage of the Emmaus festival. The band's name is associated with one of the characters in Gabriel Garcia Marquez's novel One Hundred Years of Solitude — Francisco the Man.
