Chris "Lord" Harms (born January 22, 1980) is a German vocalist, cellist and producer. He is best known as the frontman of the rock band Lord of the Lost. Harms was born in Hamburg to an actress and a musician. He began playing the cello at the age of 5 and continued his musical studies at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. In 2007, Harms founded the band Lord of the Lost, which he leads to this day. He plays several musical instruments, writes music and film scripts, designs tattoos and creates album covers for the band. Harms is also a music teacher: he teaches children and teenagers to play the cello at one of the music schools in Hamburg, and also gives private lessons to those entering the conservatory.
