Chugunny Skorokhod is a Russian musical group from St. Petersburg. One of the first pop bands to play electronic music. The group was created in 1996 by musicians Anton Dmitrenko (Anton Neumark) and Yuri Usachev. In the same year, the first album, "Sprouts of Joy" was released on the Zeko Records label. It included the songs "Shamil Basayev" and "The Birth of a Rumor" ("Alla Pugacheva is Dead"), which instantly brought the group popularity. Due to the fact that the group allowed itself some frivolity in the form of the songs "Yoko Ono" and "Fags are coming", released in 2001-2002, the band was unofficially banned from broadcasting on television and radio. The last album "Airplane" was released in 2008.
