Crosby, Stills & Nash is a supergroup musical group that primarily works in the folk rock style. The core members of the group are David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash. At times, Neil Young joined them, and then the group performed and recorded as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The history of the ensemble began in 1968, when Stephen Stills, David Crosby, and Graham Nash had their first joint jam session at Cass Elliott's home. The first album, Crosby, Stills & Nash, was released in May 1969 and immediately became a sensation, entering the Top 40 list and becoming a leading radio broadcaster in the then new FM format.
