Danny Vera, née Danny Polfliet (Middelburg, May 31, 1977) is a Dutch singer, musician and songwriter. His music fits the American style. In 1999 he formed his first band, Till Dawn, with which he won the Zeeuwse Belofte (Dutch Grand Prix) in 2000. At that time, Vera was one of the first students of the Rock Academy in Tilburg, as were classmates Jacqueline Govert and Flor Jansen. Various shows all over Holland followed with Till Dawn. In 2002 Danny Vera signed a solo deal with Universal Music.
