De Alpenzusjes compositions sheet music and chords
The Alpenzusjes are a Dutch singing duo founded in 1980, disbanded in 2009, and re-formed in 2010. As the name suggests, the duo primarily performed Dutch-language "Tyrolean" schlager music. In 1983, they performed the song "Jodeladiehieppieppiep" with Franky Boy on Chiel Montagne's program "Op volle toeren" (On Full Tour). The Alpenzusjes duo was founded in 1980 with members Carla Janssen-Langendijk and Hanny Tholen. Tholen remained with the group for only two years, after which her position was successively taken over by other singers. Since mid-2006, this position has been filled by Edith Verboeket. In 2009, the Alpenzusjes permanently ceased making music. Since 2010, a completely new duo has been performing again under the name De Alpenzusjes. This new formation has left traditional Tyrolean schlager music behind. In early 2011, the new duo released their carnival album "Naar voor, naar achter" (Forward, Backward). Original member Carla Janssen-Langendijk gave permission for the name De Alpenzusjes to be used.
