Dennis Jernigan (born 1959) is a contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter. Born in Sapulpa, he currently resides in Muskogee. Jernigan graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University. In 2018, he was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame. According to Jernigan, he and his work were greatly influenced by "liberation from homosexuality," which, as Dennis believes, was related to a lack of paternal attention during his childhood. Jernigan made his debut as a performer in 1991 with the album "There's Coming A Day."
