Diane Guerrero (born July 21, 1986) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Maritza Ramos on the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black. Guerrero was born in Passaic, New Jersey to Colombian parents and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. Guerrero made her television debut in an episode of Body of Proof and later landed a recurring role on the sitcom Are We There Yet? In 2012, she joined Orange Is the New Black in a recurring role as Maritza Ramos, one of the Latina inmates. Guerrero had a major role in the independent film Smiley and has also appeared in the series Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, and Doom Patrol. Guerrero also voiced the character Isabela Madrigal in the 2021 Disney film Encanto.
