DJ Olde, birth name Jannis Schreiner (* September 9, 1989 in Speyer, Rhineland-Palatinate) is a German DJ, MC and music producer. Jannis Schreiner grew up in Schifferstadt, Germany and it was not too long when he discovered his passion for music. He took lessons in drumming at the age of nine and was a member of the childrens choir at the local men’s singing association “MGV 1860 Schifferstadt”. Influenced by numerous artists of the reggae and dancehall scene, he got inspired to produce his first mixtapes at the age of 13 and shared them on social media outlets. At the age of 15 he founded S-Town Soundsystem together with his friends. He parallely then went on to found his sound system “Convict Sound” a year later.
