Edith Whiskers is a fictional character, a cartoon grandmother who records covers of famous artists. Edith Whiskers was created by British musician Tom Rosenthal. The idea for the character came when Rosenthal was offered the chance to record a cover of Ed Sheeran and The Magnetic Zeros' song "Home." Unable to find a partner to record the track, he performed both the male and female parts himself. In late 2020, Edith Whiskers gained popularity online thanks to her covers of songs by Robyn, The Beatles, and Destiny's Child.
