Evgeny Nikolaevich Ross (pseudonym - Evgeny Chuzhoy) is a Russian musician, performer of songs in the genre of Russian chanson. He was born on May 2, 1965 in the village of Akulovo, Pervomaysky District, Altai Krai. He graduated from the Barnaul Music College, majoring in double bass. After the army, he worked as a musician in restaurants, then in the theater. In 1999, he began his solo career. In 2001, he recorded his first album, "Sinner." Four-time laureate of the "Chanson of the Year" award. In 2005, by order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Airborne Forces, he was awarded the jubilee medal "Army General Margelov" for raising the patriotic spirit of paratroopers. Since 2007, Evgeny Ross has annually organized the "Festival of Good Song" in the village of Akulovo.
