Faber (real name Julian Vincenzo Pollina; born April 18, 1993 in Zurich) is a Swiss singer-songwriter. Faber's debut album Sei ein Faber im Wind was released on July 7, 2017. Some songs from his two previous EPs (2015 and 2016) were re-recorded for the album. With his music, which Deutschlandfunk described as "brass band Balkan music", and his provocative German lyrics, Faber quickly made a name for himself in the independent scene. Faber himself said in an interview that his lyrics, which he often sings from the first-person perspective of fictional characters, are misunderstood by many listeners and are mistaken for his own opinions.
