Fedya Karmanov (real name - Farkhat Karamov) is a Russian violinist, performer in the chanson genre. He was born on March 13, 1955 in the Tatar village of Tylnamas. In 1957, he moved to Perm with his family. In 1972, he entered the Perm Music College, violin department. After graduation, Karmanov performed in the local ensemble "Ryabiny-yagody", and also worked part-time in cafes and restaurants. In 1980, he left for Moscow and began working as a violinist in the night restaurant "Gloria". He also began singing there. In 1984, Karmanov moved to Sochi. In 1990, he returned to Moscow and began playing in the group "Lots-man" (soloist A. Polotno). In 1999, the first solo album "Chamber Songs" was released, and then the pseudonym was first heard - Fedya Karmanov (the author of the pseudonym is Anatoly Polotno). In 1999, Fedya's debut solo record was released, called "Vagabond". It became one of the most popular in the discography of the chansonnier.
