Fedya Karmanov (real name - Farkhat Karamov) is a Russian violinist, performer in the chanson genre. He was born on March 13, 1955 in the Tatar village of Tylnamas. In 1957, he moved to Perm with his family. In 1972, he entered the Perm Music College, violin department. After graduation, Karmanov performed in the local ensemble "Ryabiny-yagody", and also worked part-time in cafes and restaurants. In 1980, he left for Moscow and began working as a violinist in the night restaurant "Gloria". He also began singing there. In 1984, Karmanov moved to Sochi.
