Forum is a Soviet and Russian pop-rock group founded by Alexander Morozov in the spring of 1983. It is considered the first synthpop band in the USSR. The line-up was formed from a previously broken up group called "Forward", it included Alexey Fadeev (guitar, bass, vocals), Vladimir Ermolin (guitar, vocals), Alexander Nazarov (bass, banjo), Irina Komarova (violin, bass, vocals) and Boris Bogdanov (drums). In 1986, the group with the song "Leaves flew away" took part in the final of the 16th "Song of the Year" festival. From 1988 to 1991 the group participated in the finals of the Song of the Year festival.
