Born in Afghanistan, Freschta lives in Switzerland with her mother. There she participated in "The Voice of Switzerland" in 2014 and made it to the semi-finals. Also at ESC Freschta tried: With the song "Gold" she entered the Swiss preliminary and even sang in the TV final. Now she wants to take the chance in Germany again: "Germany is much bigger and you can do more musically, I want to succeed and make a name for myself."
