Frida Gold compositions sheet music and chords

Frida Gold is a German band from the Bochum area. The band name comes from the song Frida by Axel Bosse. "Gold" was later added because the band wanted a double name and gold would be associated with "precious, warm, radiant, uncopyable and pure". The band is signed to Warner Music and produces pop music with German, but also partly English lyrics. The songs are mainly written by the singer Alina Süggeler and the bassist Andi Weizel. The singer Alina Süggeler and the guitarist Julian Cassel played together in a band since they were at school together at the Gymnasium Holthausen. In 2007 the band changed their name from Linarock to Frida and changed their musical style from guitar-heavy rock music to “discoized indie pop.
