Geno Nadirashvili is a Georgian musician, People's Artist of Georgia. He was born on June 29, 1937 in Tbilisi. In 1964, he joined the VIA "Orera" (instruments: trumpet, double bass, vocals). Previously, he worked in the jazz orchestra of Giorgi Gabeskiria, as a soloist and double bass player in the State Variety Orchestra "Rero", later - in the jazz trio "Dzhang" and "Kavkaz" of Boris Rychkov. In July 2019, Geno Nadirashvili was awarded a star named after him in front of the State Philharmonic of Georgia. In the summer of 2023, he left the post of artistic director of "Orera", which he held for more than 35 years.
