German Titov is a Belarusian singer, showman, producer, composer, and television host. His real name is Dmitry Karpinchik. He was born on May 20, 1985, in Kobrin (Brest Region). After graduating from school, he enrolled in the Grodno College of Arts and then became a student at the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts. He graduated in 2012. He took his stage name, German Titov, in honor of Soviet cosmonaut German Stepanovich Titov, the first person to complete a long-duration space flight. In 2005, he won the Belarusian television project "Star Stagecoach" (analogous to Russia's "Star Factory"). He has also appeared on the shows "The Secret of Success" and "People's Artist 2." In 2009, he became the host of the morning program "Our Morning" on the Belarusian channel ONT. He is known not only as a singer and television host, but also as a composer. His songs are sung by Natasha Koroleva, Anita Tsoi, Stas Mikhailov, Nikolai Baskov and others.
