The idea of ​​creating a group "Gulyai Pole" appeared at the end of 1989, when Yuri Gorodetsky and Vladimir Boyko recorded several test songs at home in Krasnodar. The name "Walk the Field" was coined a little later - in November 1990, after a joint tour with the Lube group. The concert program "Walk the Field" - "Lube" lasted from 1990 to 1993, while the team worked at the production center of Igor Matvienko. In the spring of 1991, work was completed on the first album "Vagabond", which was released by the Aprelevsk record factory with a circulation of 150,000 copies.
