Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass was an instrumental band formed by Herb Alpert. One of the band's popular albums was Whipped Cream & Other Delights (1965). It was released on A&M Records. The album cover became iconic for pop culture and gave rise to many parodies and imitations. The band included trumpeter Tony Kalash, trombonist Robert Edmondson, bassist Pat Senator, guitarist John Pisano, pianist Lou Pagani and drummer Nick Caroli. The band put on grand shows at concerts with dancers and comedians and became one of the highest-paid acts in the United States in 1965.
