Igor Vladimirovich Balalaev (born December 10, 1969, in Omsk) is a Russian theater and film actor, a leading actor in Moscow musicals, and a voice actor. From 1991 to 1995, he studied at the Yekaterinburg State Theater Institute, specializing in drama theater and film acting (Natalia Milchenko's class), graduating with honors. In 1997, he was nominated for a Golden Mask theater award for his role as Yashka-Tugboat in I. Dunaevsky's operetta White Acacia at the Omsk State Musical Theater. He made his film debut in 2004 in Tigran Keosayan's musical melodrama Silver Lily of the Valley 2 (as Edik).
