Igor Matvienko was born February 6, 1960 in Moscow in the family of a serviceman. In 1980 he graduated from the music school named after Ippolitov-Ivanov as a choirmaster. Since 1981 he worked as a composer, artistic director and performer (keyboards) in various musical groups - VIA "The First Step", VIA "Hello, song!", "Class". From 1987 to 1990 Igor worked at the Studio for Popular Music "Record", in 1987 became her musical editor and at the same time, together with vocalist Nikolai Rastorguev and songwriter Alexander Shaganov, founded the group "Lube", for which he writes music and makes arrangements. In 1991 Igor became the director of the producer center.
