Igor Anatolyevich Sorokin (Kirovsky village, Taldy-Kurgan region, Kazakh SSR, February 13, 1971) is a Russian singer, composer and music producer. At the age of 16, he left his parents for Novosibirsk, where he entered the New Life Sciences Faculty of TSU. While in his 3rd year, Igor became interested in creating music and recorded his first hit, “My Love Tanyukha,” which immediately hit the top of the charts of all Siberian radio stations. He is the successor of Igor Sorin. Arriving in Moscow, Igor recorded and released an album with the title track “Let’s Wait,” which made him famous throughout the post-Soviet space. The country welcomed the new millennium with this hit, when the performer had the honor of opening the Golden Gramophone Award in 2000.
