Ikke Hüftgold (born September 17, 1976 in Limburg an der Lahn; real name Matthias Distel) is a German party hit singer, producer and entrepreneur. Under his real name Matthias Distel, he graduated from high school in Limburg an der Lahn in 1996, then completed his community service in geriatric care and began studying before he set up a horticultural business with a partner in his hometown. He taught himself several instruments and was the front man of various rock bands from 1993 to 2006 (including Scarabäus, MARIUS). From 2007 he wrote and produced radio plays for children (including Manolito, The journey begins), until he discovered his talent for party hits due to a losing bet.
