Irina Krutova is a singer, performer of Russian romances, classical music, retro songs. She was born in the city of Volgodonsk, Rostov region, grew up in Kuban. She graduated from the Novorossiysk Music College named after D. D. Shostakovich, specializing in conducting an academic choir, then from the Rostov State Conservatory named after S. V. Rachmaninov, academic vocal class. The singer continued her education in Moscow, at the State Music and Pedagogical Institute named after M. M. Ippolitov-Ivanov. Irina Krutova is the winner of the gold medal of the Delphic Games (1999), a diploma winner of the All-Russian Vocalists Competition named after N. Obukhova, a laureate of the International Competition of Performers of Russian Romance "Romansiada" (2002). In 2007, she was awarded the title of "National Treasure of Russia".
