Jan-Marten Block (born August 21, 1995 in Niebüll) is a German rock singer. Block grew up in Süderlügum near Flensburg and began his musical career at school, at private parties and in church. After that he also appeared at various events. He plays guitar, piano, drums and bass. In 2018 he was a participant in the 4th season of the talent show X Factor and took fourth place. In 2021 Block took part in the 18th season of DSDS and reached the final, which he won with the song Never Not Try composed for him and a 33.4 percent share of the vote. In addition to the music, he works as a voice actor, where he speaks a character in a Russian children's series.
