Jan Dmitrievich Marty (real name Martynov; born May 3, 1970, Arkhangelsk) is a gypsy singer, musician, composer, songwriter. Winner of the "Chanson of the Year 2013" awards in the "Discovery of the Year" ("Radio Chanson"), "Golden Gramophone" ("Russian Radio") nominations. One of the most popular gypsies in Russia. As a student of the national department in the button accordion class, he additionally took vocal lessons. In 1989 he recorded his first music album and received an invitation to the Metallurg Palace of Culture, Severstal JSC as a pop performer. A year later, the Vologda State Philharmonic Society entered into an employment agreement with him. In 1992, Martynov became a laureate of the Yalta-Moscow-Transit competition.
