Joel Brandenstein (born February 26, 1984) is a German pop singer fr om Ratingen who became known on the Internet. Joel Brandenstein started publishing music on the Internet around 2008. In May 2011, he opened a YouTube channel with a cover version of What ever you want by Marlon Knauer, wh ere he accompanied himself on the piano. In the following years there followed numerous other internet videos with German and English speaking ballads. Just under a dozen of these reached seven-digit access numbers, with his version of Cloud 7 by Max Herre he had over 6 million hits.
