Jörg Bausch (born March 5, 1973, in Essen) is a German pop singer, lyricist, and composer. Bausch grew up in Essen-Borbeck and attended the Bischof-von-Ketteler-Schule (Bishop von Ketteler School). He then began an apprenticeship as a butcher. Later, he worked as a truck driver and stagehand. He also performed at city festivals in North Rhine-Westphalia. Bausch first gained attention as a pop singer with the disco-fox hit "Wetten dass...?" (2000). His first album, "Lust am Leben" (Joy of Life), was released in 2005, followed by his second album, "Unglaublich" (Incredible), in 2006, featuring the singles "Dieser Flug" (This Flight) and "Wie ein Wolf in der Nacht" (Like a Wolf in the Night).
