Ekaterina Golitsyna is a popular Russian singer and songwriter. As a seven-year-old child, the girl independently found a music school and enrolled there. The future famous singer Ekaterina Yakovleva, known under the pseudonym Katerina Golitsyna, was born on April 5, 1962 in the city of Omsk. Thanks to her assertive nature, the aspiring singer managed to work with such well-known groups as Moskvichki, Devchata and Peers. Having gained precious experience, the girl became the leader of the VIA Katyusha group. In the late 80s, as part of an ensemble, she recorded her debut album, Call Me Into the Night.
