Maryna Valeriivna Krut (stylized name - KRUTЬ) is a Ukrainian singer, poet, composer and bandura player. She was born on February 21, 1996 in Khmelnytskyi. She graduated from the Khmelnytskyi Children's School of Arts, bandura class, then continued her studies at the Khmelnytskyi Music College named after Vladislav Zaremba. She became the winner and laureate of numerous all-Ukrainian and international competitions. In 2017, she took part in the eighth season of the talent show "X-Factor", where she performed the song Hallelujah. In 2018, she released her debut album Arche, and in 2019 - the mini-album Albino. She took part in the national selection for Eurovision 2020, won the first semi-final. She characterizes her style as indie soul with the sound of bandura.
