"Kvartal" is a Soviet and Russian rock band from Moscow. It gained fame thanks to its original style of performance, which combined elements of jazz, soul, funk and ethnic music. The founder of the group is the poet and musician Artur Pilyavin, who wrote most of the "Kvartal" compositions and was involved in numerous additional projects.
