La Húngara, artistic name of Sonia María Priego Bárbara (Écija, January 21, 1980), is a Spanish flamenco singer. Sonia Priego is discovered by the musician El kaly in 2001, when at a friend's bachelorette party, she performs the song “Ese hombre” by Rocío Jurado, in a karaoke. This puts her in contact with producer Francisco Carmona, they record a demo of her and present it to different discographers. In November 2001 she released her first album "A Camarón" backed by the company JJ Records. Musical themes such as "I am canastera", "My heart hurts" and "Give me your kisses" were her first popular songs.
