The English Channel is a Ukrainian rock band fr om Ivano-Frankivsk. The group is most famous for the song “Poglyad”, which was used as the soundtrack for the film “Brother 2”. The group was founded on January 1, 1998 in Ivano-Frankivsk from former members of the RARA AVIS group Alexander Tokarev (bass), Yerema Kuznetsov (keys) and Vitaliy Bely Bykovets (guitar), joined by 16-year-old student of the local music school Anna Bezel (vocals). After the first single “Poglyad”, wh ere the musicians themselves were the authors, another song “Eee” was written by Tsiperdyuk. The group suddenly broke up in 2000.
