Valeria (Lera) Dmitrievna Masskva (until the age of 16 she carried the name Gureyev; January 28, 1988, Novy Urengoy, Tyumen Region) was a Russian singer and songwriter. In her childhood she composed poems and songs, but she had no musical education. In 2002 she moved to Moscow, intending to start a musical career. Producer Igor Markov took up the promotion of Valeria, who took the pseudonym Masskva, and the composer Alexander Maximov provided the studio for recording the demo. In 2003, the singer's pseudonym became her official last name.
