Ludovic Beier is a French jazz accordionist and composer. He performs music in the genres of jazz, Brazilian music and funk. He was born on February 19, 1978 in Auvers-sur-Oise (Val-d'Oise, Île-de-France, France). He learned to play the accordion from his father, and grew up in the French tradition of the instrument. He began playing the accordion at the age of 8 under the supervision of his father, who was an accordionist. He participated in international competitions before he began to develop his own style. He worked with musicians such as Angelo Debare, Dorado Schmitt, Florin Niculescu, who influenced his style. He has his own group - Ludovic Beier Quartet.
