Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Sokolova (born October 19, 1972, in Volzhsky) is a Russian singer and actress. She performs songs in such genres as rap, pop-rock, jazz, blues, and many others. Lyudmila Sokolova has a solo career and participates in various television music projects, and her repertoire includes songs in six languages. In 2010, she was awarded the God of the Air Award for Best Dance Composition for her song "I Am a Wave" (a collaboration with DJ Smash), and is also the recipient of the prestigious Golden Gramophone Award.
